Rooted Focus: BioHacking Wisdom

Why Rooted Focus?
Rooted Focus is a safe place for sharing wisdom that is supportive of mind and body wellness. Hacking our unique biology and individualizing self care is the goal of information provided here.
In a world that can feel unsafe, tending to self is vital to living fully and authentically. This is a place for open minded and kind souls yearning to add beauty to life and remove aspects that do not.
All are welcome to embrace knowledge that blesses your life and let go of anything that doesn’t ring true to you. We’re all neurologically diverse, so listen to what speaks to you and your experience.
About the Author
I’m CeCe. I have forty weird years of experience living life with a neurodivergent brain in a female body. I have gained meaningful experience (both good and bad) navigating life, and am always striving for greater understanding.
Rooted Focus is a passion project turned safe space for anyone yearning for education about working in harmony with the brain and body for increased wellness. The world doesn’t often support self care, so we must advocate for and prioritize ourselves. When we each embrace our own unique super powers, we can then share our light with everyone in our sphere of influence.
My personal and professional history includes: marriage, motherhood (x4), degrees in business and nursing, personal trainer, group fitness instructor, youth sports coach, public school parent-teacher organization member, inpatient pandemic nurse, outpatient post-pandemic nurse, thyroidectomy patient, hormonally imbalance juggler, mental health advocate, gardener, yogi, athlete, and so much more.
A bit chaotic, right?
Even after living the busy resume above, I was not aware of or diagnosed with ADHD until I was in my mid-thirties after coworkers noticed the signs and encouraged me to see a specialist. I will forever hold gratitude for the incredible Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner that helped me better understand my own unique neurological chemistry.
